With the aim of developing the sports movement to improve physical fitness, tighten the friendship among members of the great family and create a new playground for football lovers, VietCredit has cooperated with Asia Pacific Football Tournament (APFT) organizes VietCredit 2020 Championships. This is the largest 7v7 tournament in Vietnam, officially started from July 5, 2020 at TNG Go Vap soccer stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.

Realizing that football tournaments on mini-courts (pitches for 5 to 7 people / team) always have a special attraction for “amateur football players” and tend to develop, VietCredit has decided to choose the 7v7 format for his Football Tournament with the desire to bring a new and engaging experience to all participants and spectators watching.

In order for the tournament to be the most professional and scalable, VietCredit chose to cooperate with APFT – the “boss” of the Asian Pacific international football tournaments to organize the VietCredit 2020 Championships.

“With 10 years of experience of APFT in organizing international soccer tournaments and VietCredit’s fiery sports spirit, we believe that we will bring the best quality of the tournament and great experiences for the teams also contribute to creating a playground for those who love the sport of the king to interact and relieve stress after working hours “, VietCredit representative shared.

The VietCredit 2020 Championships are designed with a short match time of about 20 minutes per match, a team can play up to 9 matches/day, equivalent to a maximum of 180 minutes/day. This form of competition is not only purely entertaining, but also motivates players to explore to their fullest extent while ensuring game safety.

Each team has a maximum of 12 players, will take turns to kick the qualifiers to advance to the final round. If any team is in the frame of the losing team “Loser Bracket” of the tournament, the level of competition to continue will increase a lot. If you want to get past the losing round, you may have to play up to 6 consecutive matches. Therefore, teams will need to have smart play strategies, use players effectively and minimize energy consumption. At the same time, the players will need to possess 7-person soccer techniques to easily overcome other teams, bringing victory for their team. This is also a unique feature that makes the attraction of the tournament.

In particular, the tournament uses Double Elimination (Winning, Losing Branch), giving teams the chance to play a second time. That means even if a team loses in a certain match during the tournament, there is still a chance of winning the situation reversing. For example, if team A loses in round 1, team A can still win the entire tournament, as long as they win the next 8 matches. This format will certainly bring extremely thrilling surprises not only for the audience watching but also for the rival teams.

According to the competition rules, the qualifying round will take place on July 5, July 19 and August 2, respectively at the TNG Go Vap Stadium, Binh Thanh Arena and Thu Duc SPKT University. The final match will be held at Binh Thanh Arena on August 23. As can be seen, the schedule takes place on the weekends is a convenient point for the members of the teams to arrange time to participate.
